THIS WEEKEND

COMING SOON

STEPANIE ANNE JOHNSON & WHITNEY MONGÉ

Fresh off this season of The Voice, Stephanie Anne Johnson is a Voice Top 20 award-winning indie blues singer/songwriter. Guided by a killer musical instinct, her rich, melodic soundscapes surround her audience and inspire her listeners into a depth of emotional possibility.

Singer-songwriter, Whitney Mongé began her journey busking in the Pike Place Market. Her raspy, sultry vocals are highly reminiscent of Melissa Etheridge and Tracy Chapman. Now, Mongé is fresh off her West Coast tour and plans to release her single “Gracefully”, along with a music video, in the spring of 2014.

See their show.

Looking for local music?

Here’s a local sample of HurryOut’s list of live music shows happening in Seattle in the next month.

See the full list at www.hurryout.com.

Raven Zoe | Feb 5 | El Corazon
Lucky for us, 22-year old Raven Zoe moved back to Seattle in 2013, so Seattlites will get another chance to hear her soulful, playful songs in person on stage.

André Lovett | Feb 7 | Hard Rock Cafe
André and his guitar. That’s all you need to spend two hours in captivation.

Doctorfunk | Feb 8 | Highway 99 Blues Club
This 10-piece ensemble has set the new standard for funk and soul in the Pacific Northwest.

Porter Ray | Feb 9 | Barboza
A fear-nothing emcee from Seattle, Porter Ray’s trio of releases BLK GLD, WHT GLD, and RSE GLD created quite a stir in the Seattle rap scene.

Seatown Rhythm and Blues Players | Feb 14 | Serious Soul Cafe
A few minutes of their blend of R&B, Blues, Funk, and Soul will probably leave you craving more. Relax and just try not to dance to this band that’s captivating the Northwest.

BowieVision | Feb 14 | The Crocodile
Put on your red shoes and dance the blues this Valentine’s Day! The Crocodile presents the debut of BowieVision, an eight-piece band bringing the best of Bowie to life in sound and vision with the aid of stunning light and video effects. Special guests the Braxmatics will fill the dance floor with old-school funky goodness and Purr Gato opens the show with sweet Eighties-influenced electronica. Let’s dance!

The Adarna | Feb 19 | Tony V’s Garage
Seattlites are (and should be) happy to claim every exceptional member of this modern rock band as their own. The Adarna is playing at venues all over the Sound in February, so be sure to check their full concert calendar if you can’t go to this particular show.

The Crying Spell | Feb 22 | The Crocodile
Their hilarious Elemental music video will probably transfix you (can you be transfixed if you’re dying laughing?) but you’ll have a chance to see this modwave Seattle band live on February 22nd at The Crocodile.
