It’s a Fest! Free outdoor events all over Seattle

Liked the fireworks?   We loved them.
It’s already been a week since we celebrated Independence Day. We hope you’re ready to enjoy this beautiful weekend in Seattle.

Once again each neighborhood put together fun activities for everyone.  The best part is… they’re FREE!

Ballard Seafood Fest - Sat-Sun
One of our favorite summer events, Seafood Fest takes place in the heart of Ballard. Live music, hundreds of food and art vendors, and for the first time ever a skateboarding competition. Tip: Don’t forget to try the alder-smoked salmon plate.Yummy!

Summer Fest - Fri-Sun
West Seattle’s biggest street fair of the year!  The Junction (intersection of Alaska and California) and several blocks around it are bustling with people enjoying live music, food, shops, a kids play area, pet activities and more…

Bastille Bash - Sat
Allons enfants de la patrie…  You don’t have to speak French or sing la Marseillaise to enjoy French music, street performances, wine, and french-inspired food from local restaurants.

Dragon Fest and Night Market - Sat
If you haven’t been to the Dragon Fest before, don’t miss it this time!  Try to get there around noon to catch the traditional Chinese lion and dragon dances, and the martial art demonstrations. Fun for everyone!  Also this year, foodies can sample dishes from local international restaurants for just two bucks.

Urban Craft Uprising - Sat-Sun
Like to shop local?  With over 150 indie craft vendors, 40% of which are new this year, you’re guaranteed to find something unique to buy.

Polish Festival - Sat
Cześć Seattle!  The parade starts at noon at the Mural and heads to the Armory where the cultural celebration takes place. Enjoy polish music, exhibits, food, games, and dancing!

Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival - Sat-Sun
Our friends at GreenStage are bringing 14 performances from 8 of the best theater companies, for two days, at a park, for FREE!  What more can we ask for?

Summer Celebration - Sat-Sun
What better place to enjoy the sun than on an island, away from the busy city ;)  The summer celebration takes place in two parks (Mercerdale and Luther Burbank) and includes a parade, boat rides, outdoor theater, a lumberjack show, Native American performances, fireworks, and a lot more!
